Disgraced comedian Bill Cosby is celebrating a rare win from behind bars after the Supreme Court dismissed an appeal in a defamation suit against him.

As Radar reported, Kathrine McKee, a former girlfriend of Sammy Davis Jr., said Cosby defamed her by denying claims she’d made in an interview with The New York Daily News describing an alleged sexual assault she’d suffered at his hands.

In 2017, the judge in that case ruled, “An accused person cannot be foreclosed … from considering the issuance of a simple and unequivocal denial — free from overall defamatory triggers or contextual themes.”

Now that Supreme Court judges ruled unanimously to dismiss the case against him once and for all, 81-year-old Cosby has made a statement about the “victorious decision” via his spokesman, Andrew Wyatt.

“I am grateful to the United States Supreme Court and to the federal courts in Massachusetts for upholding the law in this case,” said Cosby, who is currently serving time in a Pennsylvania prison for sexually assaulting Andrea Constand.

“I thank each of the Justices for their ruling, which gives me renewed hope that the fair and impartial courts in this country will go on to deliver justice,” he continued.

“This is the very reason, why I, [Bill Cosby] have No Remorse because I am Innocent and will continue to channel the strength of the Great Political Prisoners. Finally the truth is being allowed, to be heard and read by the public.”
